The agreement between you and us when you buy from Codila: how an order becomes a contract, prices, payment, delivery, your right to cancel, returns, and what happens if something is wrong.
Last updated
codila.com is run by Codila, LLC and Codila SRL (together, “Codila”). Where these terms say “we”, they mean Codila.
These terms apply to everything you buy on codila.com, including orders an app or AI agent prepares for you and you pay for on our checkout page. If you buy as a consumer, nothing in them takes away the rights the law gives you.
Choose your pieces and sizes and go to checkout. There you enter your details and see the full price, with delivery and tax, before you pay. You can correct your details at any point before you pay.
When you pay, you offer to buy the pieces in your bag. The contract is formed when we email you the order confirmation after your payment has gone through. If a payment does not go through, no contract is formed.
The confirmation email sets out what you ordered and what you paid. If you have an account, the order is also kept there. The contract is made in English.
If we cannot supply a piece you have paid for, we tell you and refund what you paid for it.
Prices are in euros. The price on a product page is the price of the piece; at checkout we add delivery and tax as separate lines, and you see the total before you pay.
Discount codes are applied at checkout, on the conditions attached to each code.
Our checkout does not calculate import duties or taxes charged by countries outside the European Union. If the destination charges them, the carrier may ask you to pay them on delivery.
You pay when you place the order, by one of the methods shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
We deliver to the 27 countries of the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, the United States and Canada. Delivery costs 10,00 € per order, wherever it is going, and is free for orders of 150,00 € or more.
Orders leave our studio within 1–2 business days, or within 3 business days during launches and sales. We email you a tracking link when your parcel leaves. We deliver without undue delay and in any case within 30 days of the contract, unless we agree otherwise with you. Transit times vary by destination and customs; see Shipping.
The pieces are your responsibility from the moment you, or someone you have named, take physical possession of the parcel.
If you are a consumer, you can cancel the contract without giving any reason within 14 days of the day you, or someone you have named other than the carrier, receive the pieces. If one order arrives in several parcels, the 14 days run from the day you receive the last one.
To cancel, tell us clearly before the 14 days are up, for example by email to [email protected]. You can use the model cancellation form below, but you do not have to.
Send the pieces back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after telling us. We send you a prepaid return label, as we do for every return, so sending them back costs you nothing.
We refund everything you paid, including the delivery charge, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you tell us you are cancelling. We refund to the payment method you used, and may wait until we have the pieces back or you have shown us that you have sent them, whichever comes first.
You are responsible for any loss in value caused by handling the pieces more than you would need to in a shop to see what they are like and how they fit.
Our returns policy goes further than the law: you can return or exchange pieces within 30 days of delivery, on the conditions and by the steps set out on Returns & exchanges. It is in addition to your right to cancel and does not limit it.
Every piece is covered by the legal guarantee of conformity. If a piece is faulty or not as described when it is delivered, and the fault becomes apparent within two years of delivery, or longer where the law of your country says so, you are entitled to have it repaired or replaced and, if that is impossible or not done within a reasonable time, to a price reduction or a refund.
Tell us at [email protected] with your order number and, if you can, a photograph. If you live outside the European Union, the consumer law of the country where you live may give you different or further rights, and these terms do not take them away.
You can buy with or without an account. If you have one, keep your password to yourself and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
The shopping assistant is an AI and can make mistakes. Product pages, the checkout and your order confirmation are what count: nothing the assistant says changes a price, an order or these terms.
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer, or our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence and for fraud.
If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts of that country.
If you have a complaint, write to [email protected] first.
The terms that apply to your order are the ones on this page when you placed it. When we change them, we change the date at the top of this page.
Complete and return this form only if you wish to cancel the contract. It is the model form set out in EU consumer law.
